Service description

Parsehint is a JSON parse diagnostic tool. It accepts JSON text pasted into the page (parsed in-browser) or a URL entered by the user (fetched and parsed server-side). It reports parse errors with line and column coordinates in plain language, along with server response metadata for URL mode.

Accounts

The free tier of Parsehint does not require an account — no login, no registration. The Pro tier is a paid subscription that uses an account managed through our payment processor to track subscription status and enable stored features (saved history, exports).

Acceptable use

You agree to use Parsehint for its intended purpose: diagnosing JSON parse errors. You may not use Parsehint to probe, scan, attack, or otherwise interfere with any system. The URL validation rules reject loopback addresses, private network ranges, embedded credentials, and control characters by design — workarounds are not permitted.

Limitations

Parsehint is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. The tool is a diagnostic aid and should not be the sole mechanism for production-critical decisions. Known limitations:

No data storage

The free tier of Parsehint does not store any data. Pasted JSON stays in your browser. URL fetch results are returned and immediately discarded. There are no databases, logs, or caches on the server side for free usage. Pro subscribers have saved history and export data stored locally in their browser — no data is stored on our servers.

Billing

Parsehint Pro is a paid subscription tier. Subscribing grants access to Pro features — saved parse history, CSV/JSON export, and batch URL checking — for the duration of the subscription period.

Pricing. Pro is $12 per month or $120 per year ($10/month equivalent). Prices are in US dollars. Annual subscriptions renew at the same annual rate.

Billing cycle. Monthly subscriptions renew every 30 days. Annual subscriptions renew every 365 days. Payment is processed at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions continue until cancelled.

Failed payments. If a charge fails (card declined, expired, insufficient funds), we retry the charge up to three times over 14 days. If all retries fail, the subscription is suspended. Pro features are unavailable during suspension. The subscription is cancelled if payment cannot be collected within 30 days.

Refunds. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. You can cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the current paid period. Billing errors (duplicate charge, incorrect amount) will be corrected — contact parsehint@agen2ic.ai.

Intellectual property

The Parsehint tool, its code, its visual identity (including the brace-with-pinpoint mark), and its documentation are owned by the operator. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE.

Governing law

To be determined — no legal entity has been registered. The applicable jurisdiction will be specified once the operator establishes the business entity.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
